Overview
Our client is a fast-moving consumer products company seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Graphic Artist to join their growing team in Dallas. This individual will be responsible for leading packaging design across multiple brands and product lines sold through major retailers. In addition to packaging, the role includes supporting digital content creation, basic web design, and producing visually engaging assets for social media and e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Packaging Design: Own and execute packaging concepts from ideation to final production, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines across SKUs and product categories.

Trend & Market Research: Conduct market and trend analysis to inspire innovative design solutions that resonate with consumers.

Retail-Ready Design: Develop high-impact packaging and graphics optimized for major retail environments such as Walmart, Target, and Ulta.

Digital & Social Content: Design digital assets for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, as well as e-commerce imagery and enhanced content. Assist with basic updates to Shopify, WordPress, or other web platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure all creative deliverables are timely, compliant, and on-brand.

Brand Identity: Uphold and evolve visual brand consistency across packaging, advertising, digital, and print collateral.

Workflow & Asset Management: Maintain brand style guides, image libraries, and label databases. Manage approvals, file prep, and color accuracy throughout the design process.

Print & Promotional Materials: Design marketing collateral including brochures, trade show graphics, and in-store displays.

Production Execution: Prepare final art files for print and digital use, ensuring accuracy with dielines, color, and printer specifications. Oversee press checks and approve production materials.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, photographers, and creative agencies to maintain quality and brand alignment within budget.

Creative Leadership: Mentor junior designers, contribute to creative reviews, and help foster a collaborative, innovative team culture.

Additional Projects: Provide creative support as needed across other marketing initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

4–8 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG), beauty, or personal care industries.

Strong knowledge of design processes, packaging compliance, and industry best practices.

Ability to lead projects from concept through execution independently.

Excellent communication skills and judgment when working cross-functionally and with external partners.

Solid understanding of brand development, visual storytelling, and multi-channel marketing.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) on Mac OS.

Basic knowledge of business software (Microsoft Office, email).

Experience with motion design or video editing is a plus.

Photography or art direction experience is an added bonus.
