About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic TechOps team supporting enterprise-level technology infrastructure. This role focuses on managing and optimizing the computer technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information across the organization. You’ll be responsible for managing and troubleshooting large-scale VM deployments while working with cutting-edge cloud and automation technologies.
What You’ll Do
Infrastructure & Deployment
- Develop code, configure applications, and define job schedules for high-risk, highly complex requirements
- Install software and updates for critical systems, executing and owning code deployment across all environments
- Manage and troubleshoot large VM deployments using modern cloud infrastructure
- Conduct performance monitoring and analyze results against established benchmarks
Architecture & Design
- Create critical-path, high-risk, advanced and cross-functional technical designs
- Contribute to overall architectural footprint, direction, and technical standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration needs and design solutions
- Participate in database design ensuring consistent technical approaches
Quality & Standards
- Approve and conduct design and code reviews
- Establish, maintain, and apply coding/configuration standards and best practices
- Create and apply architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments
- Review and approve test plans, execution, and validation
Problem Solving & Support
- Perform application support, problem solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources
- Identify technical issues and determine options for resolution and risk mitigation
- Contribute to technical solutions through analysis and identification of options
- Define and communicate requirements for technical environments and project scope
Performance & Optimization
- Analyze business requirements and create performance testing scenarios
- Review and approve performance test results, recommendations, and tuning outcomes
- Ensure application performance meets customer needs

Required Technical Skills:
- AWS
- Azure
- GitHub
- Puppet
- Jenkins
- SUSE Linux
- Strong proficiency in scripting and configuration tool usage
Preferred Skills:
- Terraform
- SAP (basic knowledge)
- Enterprise system experience
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree + 8-9 years of directly relevant work experience
- Alternative qualifications accepted: PhD/JD + 6 years | Master’s + 7 years | Associate’s + 9 years | High School + 10 years
