This is a hybrid role with 4 days per week working in client’s Toronto office, 1 day remote.

**About the Role**
We are searching for a visionary expert in user experience design to lead the creation of seamless and engaging digital journeys. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, guiding the ideation and execution of complex web, mobile, and cloud solutions. You’ll work closely with product owners, leveraging your deep understanding of customer needs and brand requirements to craft experiences that are both effective and delightful. Your strategic insights will impact product direction from the earliest stages, ensuring that user experience aligns perfectly with customer expectations and established design principles. **What You’ll Do**
* Lead the ideation and experience design for sophisticated web, mobile, and cloud-based solutions, driving design delivery from vision to production.
* Define data architecture and interfaces, ensuring a robust and intuitive structure for all digital offerings.
* Determine business rules, design user interactions, and map client flows, actively supporting the documentation of comprehensive business requirements.
* Craft practical user experiences, utilizing storytelling, personas, process flows, and detailed interaction designs.
* Generate essential design assets, including user scenarios, user ecosystem diagrams, competitive analyses, and detailed wireframes.
* Consult proactively with product owners, scrum teams, customers, and users to inform decisions regarding user flows, sitemaps, layout, styling, and technical feasibility.
* Manage stakeholder relationships and communications effectively, acting as the primary point of contact for all project UX related statuses during stand-ups and demos.
* Plan, execute, and present compelling wireframe mock-ups and proof of concepts to stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and selling the vision behind user experiences.
* Continuously enhance knowledge, refine designs, and recommend solution improvements by gathering live customer data, conducting market research, testing, and interviews.
* Analyze industry best practices, client feedback, new vendor offerings, and insights from metrics tracking and competitive analysis to identify and implement opportunities for client experience enhancements.
* Perform required analytics to monitor client behavior metrics (e.g., tracking tags, web trends, browser data, A/B and multivariate testing) and implement tags to gather ongoing improvement data.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 10+ years of experience leading the design and execution of user experiences.
* 10+ years of experience collaborating with multi-member UX design teams on complex, user-experience-centric initiatives.
* 10+ years of professional experience in software development, the digital industry, or other relevant fields.
* 10+ years of experience designing and executing creative user experiences, with a proven track record of implementing responsive designs for medium to high complexity solutions.
* Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team-based, fast-paced Agile or Waterfall development environment.
* Proficiency in designing and planning user-centered products and services, with a strong focus on usability and productivity.
* Expertise in various UX wireframe and prototyping design tools such as Omnigraffle, InVision, Indigo Studio, Axure, Balsamiq, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong visual design sense and proficiency in graphic and web design principles, including CSS, HTML, web standards, and cross-browser issues & fixes.
* Proficiency in Lean UX Methodology application and Agile Workflows.
* Basic understanding of design theory, concepts, principles, standards, and best practices in Design Engineering.
* Proven ability to design, analyze, synthesize, and interpret data from widely varied sources for research and analysis.
* Solid knowledge of how to develop products from feasibility through design and implementation to production.
* Ability to contribute to simple Agile solutions and initiatives within an Agile Framework and Practice.
* A diploma or degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, etc.) in Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, Interdisciplinary Design, Media Arts, Computer Science (Human Computer Interaction), Interaction Design, Digital Media, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, visual design, or human-centered design, or any related field, coupled with relevant experiences and a compelling portfolio.
* Proven understanding of user-centered design techniques and a demonstrated ability to incorporate UCD principles into the architecture and design of user interfaces.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience with animation software (e.g., Premiere, After Effects).
