You will be instrumental in providing prompt, accurate, and professional service, from managing daily transactions to assisting with account needs and promoting valuable financial products. **Responsibilities**
* Professionally greet and welcome members and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Process financial transactions with efficiency, accuracy, and promptness.
* Respond to member inquiries and concerns across various channels, including email, phone, and in-person interactions, ensuring timely and professional resolutions.
* Provide comprehensive assistance with plastic card-related issues, including processing and mailing.
* Facilitate the opening of new accounts and service existing ones, providing members with all necessary information.
* Proactively promote and explain relevant financial products and services based on individual member needs.
* Perform account maintenance tasks accurately and with proper authorization.
* Act as a backup for teller duties, which include receiving and verifying checks and cash deposits, processing loan and credit card payments, cashing checks, verifying signatures and balances, placing holds on uncollected funds, and accurately recording transactions.
* Maintain the highest level of confidentiality for all member information.
* Ensure strict compliance with all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, including relevant financial acts and controls.
**What You’ll Bring**
* Minimum of 2 years of dedicated customer or member service experience within a financial institution.
* Proven experience in cash handling and managing financial transactions.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to interact calmly and professionally with diverse personalities and cultures, consistently providing the highest levels of member service and discretion.
* Capability to perform job functions independently or as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong ability to maintain composure and accuracy under pressure, including deadlines and fast-paced environments.
* Adept at managing multiple, simultaneous, and evolving priorities effectively.
* Highest level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**
* Experience with core banking or financial service systems.
