Become an integral part of a dynamic team within a leading automotive manufacturing corporation, revolutionizing their payroll and timekeeping processes. As a Timekeeping Analyst partnered with Aquent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of payroll, collaborating with various teams and leveraging your expertise to drive process improvements.

As a Timekeeping Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and delivery.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Implementing payroll process changes within the system.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Staying current on payroll process technology and anticipating system impacts.
  • Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzing and presenting data to support management decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Contributing to special projects and global initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting
  • Prior Payroll/Timekeeping experience
  • Strong accounting background
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, macros)
  • Knowledge of US payroll taxes and remittance
  • Strong understanding of banking/tax and garnishment regulations

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • SAP knowledge

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28-31 an hour DOE. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.

This is a hybrid role in Warren, MI
