The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

The purpose of this team is release readiness as part of the security organization targeting the different division areas such as Intune or management.
This role will contribute to overall help with release readiness in the Intune space and possibly other areas of the business related to security products or services, the compliance as well as identity.
The role will consist of 10-20% of meetings, 50-60% of day-to-day operations, and the rest would be newsletters and editing technical content.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: no degree is required to be eligible for this role.
  • Disqualifiers: Candidates with job hopping or significant gap will not be eligible for the role.
  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain great communication, editing and coordination skills, prior tech experience
  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on measuring a variety of monthly deliverables as well as weekly deliverables dependent on the state of delivery software releases

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience with Outlook.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55 – $60/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
