We’re looking for one individual who would be supporting our client’s Marketing and Events team. This individual will split their time between these departments.

Marketing = 60%
Events = 40%

This role would be expected to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays each week. Monday and Friday would be considered REMOTE workdays, which is subject to change as business needs arise.

General work hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a (1) hour lunch each day. Work hours may be changed based on business needs. This individual would be required to be onsite for all events throughout the duration of their time. We are currently planning (13) events for this time with some events falling outside of normal business hours.

Description: seeking administrative support in the events and marketing departments. This role will build great foundational skills in the marketing and event planning space. We value attention to detail, organization, clear communication skills, self-accountability, and a customer-service mindset.

A general list of responsibilities we need immediate help with:


Scheduling marketing emails & social media
Light to medium web updates (familiarity with WordPress not required but desirable)
Exporting, compiling & formatting marketing data
Internal inbox management & responsiveness
Attending meetings & crafting minutes
Strong proofreading skills
Medium writing skills


Create registration pages within ticketing platform (bonus for working knowledge of Eventbrite platform)
Create weekly registration reports by department.
Compile event registration reports as needed (familiarity with Excel is a plus)
Manage calendar invites for Board of Directors
Create, and deploy post event surveys.
Help execute onsite registration process for all CAR Events.
Manage event inbox communication regarding event questions and registration.
Monitor event deadlines and assist team with department follow up.

“The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $30.00 to $32.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
