Our CPG (beverage) client is seeking a seasoned Marketing Data Analyst to bring extensive expertise in supporting marketing teams with data-driven insights and analysis within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This role involves providing comprehensive support to the Marketing team, including data pulls, measures assistance, and report-building utilizing Circana’s Unify platform. With a strong analytical capability, you will excel in breaking down complex problems, tracking implications, and presenting findings through systematic approaches.

 Support day-to-day data requests from the Marketing team, including data pulls, help with measures,
and assisting with Unify navigation and report-building; provide providing guidance and
centralization of all brands’ analysis paths (templated and ad hoc)
 Leverage Circana data to pull, analyze and create reports that explain what is happening in the
marketplace across BTB’s portfolio of brands.
 Analytic Capability: use a systematic approach to solving problems that involve breaking them into
smaller pieces, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making
comparisons of potential drivers in order to present findings.
 Flexible: skillfully apply different data sets and measures to deliver clear, fact-based responses to
project/request needs
 Hypothesis-driven: consult with stakeholders to determine the business context to provide a
comprehensive response to requests. Liaison with CDSO and other functions to ensure consistency
of measures and product lists used for corporate reporting

 Marketing and/or Sales with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using
syndicated or point-of-sale (POS) data
 Knowledge of Beverage categories is strongly preferred
 Experience with Circana’s Unify platform required; POS data (Market Advantage) and Household
Panel (ScanPanel) knowledge essential – with exposure to alternate Circana solutions a plus (e.g.,
 3+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, and/or category management
 Strong Excel skills
 Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage, and work with, outside suppliers, including
dedicated Circana team

“The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $43.00 to $48.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.”
