Your responsibilities:

 

● Collaborate with the creative team to cultivate and refine an exemplary brand identity.

● Spearhead the manifestation of the brand’s essence within the digital landscape, showcasing a profound understanding of crafting brand systems tailored for e-commerce and digital interfaces.

● Maintain a comprehensive perspective of the brand and foster collaborative partnerships with various departments within the company, including Marketing, Retail, Industrial Design, and User Experience (UX), to bring the brand vision to fruition.

● Engage in critical thinking to identify challenges, generate innovative concepts, and propose design solutions that are innovative, daring, and consistently aligned with the brand identity.

 

Key qualifications:

● A track record of 6-8 years in developing brands and implementing strategies across multiple platforms, with a preference for candidates with prior e-commerce experience and/or in-house design.

● Looking for elevated, simple, bold clean design aesthetic in your work.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and create innovative design solutions that align with the brand’s core values and aesthetics.

● Confident and articulate communication skills, capable of articulating design choices strategically.

● A comprehensive grounding in design fundamentals, encompassing typography, layout, and an acute aesthetic sense for photography and color. Experience in motion design is considered advantageous.

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Figma.

● Able to generate original ideas independently.

● Adept at photography, color, and typography, with experience in consumer electronics.

● Should have a good eye for photography and understanding of color and typography.

● Must be proactive problem-solvers with strong communication skills.

● Should have a holistic understanding of branding and creative, not just limited to website creation.

● Ability to work collaboratively within a small and nimble team.

● Strong emphasis on the importance of understanding the decision-making process behind the work rather than just the finished product in a portfolio.

● A passion for cross-functional collaboration within organizations to materialize projects and ambitious concepts.

● A portfolio showcasing successfully launched projects, highlighting a strategic, conceptual, and creative approach.

● Based in New York.
