What you’ll do: As the Digital Advertising Operations Manager for our client’s Retail Media Network, you will lead the advertising unit, setting the gold standard for executing client campaigns. Your mission is to drive superior client results, foster innovation, and maintain our leadership in retail media advertising.

  • Develop the strategic vision for ad operations on retail media platforms, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
  • Lead and inspire the ad operations team, setting high-performance standards and promoting professional development.
  • Oversee the management, launch, and continuous optimization of advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Establish robust processes for analyzing campaign performance to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
  • Cultivate strong interdepartmental relationships for integrated and efficient campaign delivery.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor shifts, advising the strategy team on potential implications.
  • Administer campaign budgets and projections, pursuing excellence in client investment outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of testing and learning, pushing boundaries in ad placements, targeting approaches, and creative innovation.
  • Act as a key advisor to clients, offering deep insights to enhance their advertising strategies.
  • Collaborate with product development to translate frontline feedback into tangible enhancements.
  • Author comprehensive reports tracking campaign performance and informing future strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively address campaign challenges with swift and measured remedies.
  • Maintain a responsive and flexible campaign management strategy adaptable to platform or market alterations.
  • Support the sales team with media plan development and strategic pitches.

What you bring:

  • 5-7 years of strategic leadership experience in digital advertising campaign management for retail media or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of scaling ad operations and driving significant growth in digital advertising (preferably retail media) with budgets >$10M CAD per year.
  • Expert-level proficiency in data analysis, using insights to spearhead campaign innovation.
  • Exemplary communication skills and a collaborative spirit for cross-functional alliances.
  • Deep expertise in retail media networks and leadership in the evolution of the advertising industry.
  • Exceptional project management skills, balancing multiple initiatives with finesse and precision.
  • Visionary mindset, constantly engaged with emerging industry trends and preparing the team for the future.
