We’re seeking a creative force to elevate our design impact and shape brand experiences across events, education programs, and more. Drive the application of our visual identity, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and craft high-level design concepts. Role Description:

 

Aquent’s client design Excellence, an internal team aiming to elevate the impact of design at Aquent’s client and our reputation as a top destination for design talent, is seeking a talented, creative, experienced Brand Designer to help us bring new brand experiences to life across events, education programs, core brand experiences, and our web site. The Brand Designer will drive the application of our visual identity for large programs and initiatives across Aquent’s client Design Excellence both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of branding and corporate identity, and an ability to work independently and alongside other design team members, creatives, and business partners.

 

You should have deep knowledge and practical experience with brand guidelines, concept decks, strategic input briefs, and creative briefs at a top consumer-facing brand like Aquent’s client. You should be comfortable engaging entry-level through executive stakeholders and working with many different types of creative professionals and creative outputs. Because the work is so varied, fast-paced, and high pressure, you should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

You will partner closely with a variety of peers and stakeholders such as customer research, brand strategy, content strategy, copy, art direction, retail, go-to-market, event, and site development to achieve key strategic goals. You will develop high-level design concepts that tell a cohesive story across website detail pages, event trade dress, and core brand applications/brand guidelines. This role is for a highly capable designer who is comfortable supporting external creative resources and who has the composure and communication skill to effectively present to senior executives.

 

Must haves

 

* Experience designing brand design systems and branding guidance that can apply across multiple channels

* Strong understanding of Brand Strategy

* A portfolio that demonstrates a high bar for design and creative direction

* Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills

* Ability to collaborate well with others and brings no ego to the team

* Fluent in all current design software

 

Nice to have

* Experience telling brand stories in multiple channels, e.g., social, onsite, event, PR content, corporate promotional items

* A mix of working in-house, in brand/design agencies, freelance or running their own business

* Experience with motion design and broadcast package design

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55 to $60.35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
