We are seeking a talented and experienced Copywriter and Namer to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy for a variety of mediums, including blogs, press releases, websites, social media, and internal guidance with consideration of corporate tone and voice guidance. You will also be responsible for supporting various global product brands on feature level naming in accordance to existing corporate principles and processes. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of branding and marketing, as well as excellent writing and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with the ability to work independently with integrity, attention to detail, and project management skills and have a minimum of 5 years of related experience and be able to work on the PST time zone.

Responsibilities include:
• Leading/Manage naming processes: that include feature level names up to and high-priority experience naming for products while building on existing brands; experiences and pre-existing naming constructs across the product portfolio
• Strong writing skills: writing clear, concise, and compelling copy that conveys the value proposition or storytelling of an event or campaign that follows existing style guides; tone and voice principles of the company
• Strong writing skills: The candidate should be able to write clear, concise, engaging, and compelling copy that conveys the value proposition of the product or further develop existing storytelling.
• Communication skills: The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, and understand their needs and expectations.
• Research skills: The candidate should be able to conduct thorough research on the product, the market, the competitors, and the target audience, and use the data and insights to inform their copywriting strategy.
• Creativity skills: The candidate should be able to come up with original and engaging ideas for product names, slogans, headlines, and other copy elements that capture the attention and interest of the audience.
• Technical skills: The candidate should be familiar with the basic principles and processes of copywriting, such as copywriting formulas, copy editing, proofreading, and formatting.
• Brand awareness skills: The candidate should be able to understand and follow the existing corporate principles and guidelines for the product and the company, such as the brand voice, tone, style, and values.

• Minimum of 7+ years of naming/copywriting management experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
• Microsoft experience is preferred
