Web Channel Project Manager

Overview

This role is contract to hire.

Fully remote; Preferred CST or EST 

Our client, a global independent safety science company, is seeking a Web Channel Project Manager who expertly supports activities within the Marketing Project Management function. The function is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and executing marketing projects from beginning to end to drive efficiency, meet client deadlines, and deliver a best-in-class account/customer experience. Creates and reports on project timelines and resource needs to help fuel effective and efficient collaboration and delivery. Helps define and manage review processes and engages appropriate stakeholders. Manages the briefing and information-gathering process to ensure the creative team has appropriate inputs.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Has accountability for the performance and results within own discipline or function
2. Expertly support full project life cycle projects and activities — planning, requirements, scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, testing, quality, deployment, measurement and changes — for cross-functional Marketing initiatives
3. Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with business and corporate marketing partners
4. Expertly support project schedules and estimates
5. Schedules and attends client and project meetings; generates and follows up on resulting tasks
6. Manages internal and external reviews and approvals
7. Read and follow the Company Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital
security practices

Technical Skills Required:
Project Planning and Management:

Significant experience in web development projects (2 years minimum).

PMP certification desired but not required.
Communication skills – reading, written and spoken English, additional languages a bonus.

Tools: MSWord and PowerPoint

Top Must-Haves:
Web content translations – familiarity with end-to-end process
Data Analytics – Google Analytics or GA4
Data Analysis – Microsoft Excel
Software development process – familiarity

Specialized Skills Required:
There is a queue of projects of three types: acquisition integration, site rebuild, and site migration. Each one is slightly different.
Project Planning – we have a standard methodology, project manager is expected to adapt the approach as needed per project.
Communication skills – synthesizing data into meaningful action plans for team members and stakeholders.
Web content translations – familiarity with end-to-end process
Software development process – familiarity with agile development process, able to describe functional software modifications needed.
