Our large Fortune 500 client is seeking a Product Speciialist to join their team. In this Consultant role, you will deliver professional activities in the Product Management job family. This role will support the Product Team’s transition of key partners to smoothly onboard a new partner and wrap up with an old partner for this important product
What You Will Do:
- Provides basic support for product/brand management activities through their lifecycle. More specifically, you will support the development of various marketing activities for the product, development and updates of new sales tools, and support for product line assessments and business reviews.
- Handle a limited or specialized professional caseload.
- Work on small/routine assignments of limited scope and complexity while learning more advanced techniques.
- Apply standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas.
- Provide standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review.
- May provide guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior members of the team in Product Management.
Note: Product Management roles may include a blend of Product Management/Product Development responsibilities.
What You Will Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in Product Development, Product Mangement, Product Analysis roles
- Experience working with complex, regulated industry products such as healthcare, insurance, financial services etc.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – ability to work with pivot tables to gather data and create reporting. Experience working with data to deliver different outputs – pulling data and creating different views.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Powerpoint skills to create training materials, presentatiosn or reports
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal to support a variety of requests, providing information and answer questions on products as needed
- Demonstrated collaboration skills working with cross-functional project and sales teams to ensure product knowledge is shared and information is available to support the business needs
- Ability to manage ambiguity to ask questions for clarity and apply problem solving to move projects forward
- Education: complete HS/GED
