The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.

• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates. 


• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

• Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.  


• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

• PMI or PMP certification preferred.

• 5-7 years experience required.

  • Proficient with MSFT tools | 5 years
  • Previous PM experience | 5 years 
  • Has previously worked in a corporate environment | 5 years 
  • Business Analytics experience is a HUGE plus
  • Compliance and Certified PMP is a HUGE plus

Expected working hours – M-F 40 hrs/week – must be flexible in case of global meetings.

Purpose of this team: Support business unit within the customer support org – this team is made up of 2,000 employees and 4,000 delivery partners and focus on supporting customers. Specifically, “SCIM” – Security compliance identity and management. Engineers are trained in that aspect, but this team offers customer support for this system. They are a new and growing organization and facing growing pains that require extra hands. New organization created within the past 2 months that is growing with a Start up mentality at the forefront! This team is looking for people who have new ideas and are willing to put those ideas into action. 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50.00 – $57.90 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
