This team focuses on making data ready to use in machine learning to solve problems. The team supports that mission through critical generative and evaluative research and design that helps define the future of these tools: how they will enable machine learning for the company and the world. We’re looking for a UX Researcher to support us as we rethink how developers build products with machine learning and improve the data asset management experience.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Conduct research that drives the end-to-end user experience of the product ecosystem, and other API and front-end experiences
- Advocate for users throughout the product development process to ensure we’re building a trusted ecosystem
- Think holistically across the entire product suite, ensuring components have the appropriate levels of support, integration, and compatibility to meet the needs of their intended user segment(s)
- Lead top-quality research activities including lab studies, surveys, literature reviews, field research, and other forms of domain, generative, and evaluative research
- Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
- Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports, oral presentations, and other novel approaches
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Meet with stakeholders to gather research questions/requirements and share insights/recommendations
- Organize and conduct research
- Prepare research deliverables for live presentations and online sharing
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in human research disciplines (e.g., psychology, sociology, anthropology, human-computer interaction, journalism, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional work experience in UX research
- Experience in Qualitative research, oral and written presentations, and stakeholder management
- Excellent in communicating research results in a clear, concise, and compelling way through written reports and oral presentations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Portfolio or Work Samples
- Ability to work independently and prioritize time between multiple projects
- Expertise with a range of research methods, especially lab studies, surveys, literature reviews, field research, and other forms of domain, generative, and evaluative research
- Fluent across quantitative and qualitative methods
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55.63 – $61.81 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
