Email Designer

Overview

Our client in the retail space is seeking an Email Designer to join their team. This is a remote, 40 hour per week role, 3-6 month contract to start with potential for extension. This person can be local to Toronto or Calgary

Minimum 3 years experience in design or visual related industry with a strong design portfolio in online channels.
Proficiency in Adobe programs, including but not limited to XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects. This includes photo retouching, file optimization and preparing files for print.
Ability to work and maintain brand standards and design guidelines.
Ability to image source.
Ability to meet deadlines, self-manage time and work effectively in a high-activity work environment.
Team player with strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow a regimented workflow.
Solid comprehension of user interface design and information architecture.
Knowledge of website, email, UX, and UI design is an asset.
Knowledge of animation and motion design is an asset.
Ability to work and stay connected in a remote/virtual setting.
Bilingual or ability to read French is an asset.

Pay is 31/hr
