Our well known tech client is looking for a motivated, self-starter who is a creative and enthusiastic task master to help manage our Community event marketing efforts.

As the Community Events Marketing Manager you will build and execute audience acquisition and event registration nurture campaigns. You will be responsible for building campaigns that drive awareness and registrations for our client’s global Community user group conferences.
You will cross functionally to support day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of relevant projects and campaigns assigned. This includes but is not limited to managing the Community conference event marketing calendar, coordinating meetings, creating various campaign plans, inputting design and creative requests, and/or compiling, pulling and cleaning up registration data lists.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $29 to $33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
Responsibilities:
- Copywriting: Writing event promotional emails, posts, and campaigns for regional target audiencesMarketing campaign coordination and project management
- Support the event demand generation team in developing and executing event audience acquisition and nurture campaigns for Community user conferences that align with overall strategy and branding. This includes the creation of tickets for email, social, copy review, etc., plus building planning and tracking documents for the management and execution of campaigns.
- Cross-functional Enablement: Serve as the liasion between Community Marketing and Event Demand Generation on the progress and performance of Community-aligned event audience acquisition campaigns.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings across these stakeholder groups.Design asset coordination: Partner with the event marketing team, channel owners, and the Atlassian Design Studio on the development of design assets for all campaigns ensuring each aligns with the campaign message and goals.
- Reporting, tracking and campaign measurement: Monitor and track registration for each Community event globally, reporting back to the Demand Generation, Events as well as Community Marketing teams. Support on pulling campaign tracking, screenshots, and metrics for each campaign to allow the Senior Event Demand Generation Leads to make strategic decisions on audience acquisition planning. This includes but is not limited to creating and managing analytics tracking for global campaigns (via UTM links).
- Data management: Clean up various lists and reports to ensure our campaigns are targeting the correct segments.
Experience Needed:
- 1-3 years previous marketing experience and/or marketing project management
- Comfortability in working with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge supporting multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns (experience preferred)
- Project management expertise, including virtual teams
- Superb prioritization skills to individually detect and deliver the most important things first
- Ability to multitask and take the lead on several tasks simultaneously
- Microsoft Office suite program experience preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,etc.)
- Experience with social media marketing on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, TwitchIt’s admired, but not required,
- Event community marketing experience (preferably in tech)
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Slack
