Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a UX Production Designer who will focus on Desktop and Mobile Web, to join their high-energy and talented User Experience & Design team creating best-in-class digital experiences for one of the most recognized hospitality companies in the world.
**Please NOTE – this role is Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote) in Bethesda, Maryland**
In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the formatting and production of various digital projects for the clients desktop and mobile websites.
- They will be working with UX Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Product Owners, and Developers.
- The ideal candidate is hard working and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. They are a friendly, service-oriented individual who boasts excellent communication and language skills.
- Motivation and a focus on product quality are required, as is the ability to work well within a team.
While a director might come up with creative concepts and UX designer executes them, it’s the production designer who brings them to life.
- That’s why strong typographic and layout skills and outstanding organizational, project management, file organization, and archiving skills are a must.
- They must be well versed in digital design systems, and mobile UX design with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare final handoff files and assets based on specifications for desktop and mobile web
- Create and maintain design documentation
- Expand upon a feature design by creating additional screens, edge cases, and error scenarios
- Support development team by troubleshooting UX or design problems as they arise
- Ensure a quality experience on live digital products by participating in the user acceptance testing process
- Catalog updates and additions to the evolving design system
- Produces simple prototypes, user flows, and/or presentations as needed to communicate experience design
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant UX/production design experience
- Experience in Sketch, InVision and Figma
- Proven experience maintaining, updating, and creating design documentation
- Collaborative, highly organized, and strong attention to detail
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience creating and enhancing design systems and in interaction, visual and inclusive design
- Experience with major, large-scale global digital websites, or other digital products within the commerce or travel space
- Possess exceptional visual design skills and a great sense of aesthetics
- Ability to translate complex design challenges into clear, user-friendly experiences
- Thrive on creating innovative solutions to challenging user and business problems
- Have superior communication and interpersonal skills, including facilitation, presentation, storytelling, and critiquing skill
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $46.20 – $51.22 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
