Sr. UX Researcher

Overview

Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Sr. UX Researcher in Houston, TX!

Note that this is a HYBRID role.  You are expected to be able to commute to the office up to 3 days/week.  Please consider this when applying.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you MUST:

• Live in the Houston, TX area 
• Be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship of any kind during the duration of the assignment
• Be able to showcase your work thru case studies and/or a portfolio

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the overhaul development planning workflows across a variety of verticals
• Assist in coming up with new to-be streamlined workflows for the core development planning workflows and supporting workflows
• Analyze work that’s been done so far to find gaps and recommend where to gather more research.
• Help the team “connect the dots”, surface user pain-points & opportunities, and make research/validation recommendations to help influence and inform future to-be workflow states.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of UX Research experience
• Service Design experience is a plus
•  Skilled at looking at workflows, connecting dots with adjacent/supporting workflows, workflow/process transformation
• Need excellent people skills
• Experience in educating stakeholders and being a UX evangelist

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65/hour  to $75/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.   Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
