Responsibilities
-
Photograph portraits of Rockwell staff, visitors, and customers, as assigned

Photograph product hardware for use in digital and print media

Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Photoshop
-
Name, export, compress and share photos using established naming conventions and load to Photoshelter photo sharing destination

Organize and archive media assets to local and cloud-based storage destinations
-
Communicate clearly and frequently with the Creative Director, Video Manager, project managers, and staff producers in verbal and written form

Adhere to tight project deadlines

Occasionally act as videographer on live productions, meetings, and townhall presentations
Skills
-
Thorough command of lighting techniques and flash photography
-
Thorough understanding of photo editing software Adobe Photoshop

Demonstrated command of photography techniques including: exposure, shutter speed, depth-of-field, lensing, framing, and composition

Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Understanding of Google office environment (Drive, Docs, calendar and Gmail)

Mac OS proficient with knowledge of Windows operating environment a plus
Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years comparable work experience in a corporate work environment, agency, or production company

Advanced capability using Adobe Photoshop

Experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder a bonus

Master of visual storytelling and through a variety of photographic styles and techniques
-
Desire to work collaboratively with a creative team as well as demonstrated success working independently
Additional Information
This hourly role handles jobs upon request and requires periodic on-site attendance at Aquent Studios Milwaukee, WI.
The Photographer/Videopgrapher reports directly to the Video Manager and takes direction from staff producers, project managers, and Creative Director.
Compensation Range: $40/hour
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location
