Programmer Writer - Developer Division

Overview

Our Developer Division is looking for a Programmer Writer to work on a new .NET service that is a
stack for building resilient, observable, and configurable cloud-native applications with .NET. This new stack will make it easy to discover, acquire, and configure essential dependencies for cloud-native applications and will include a curated set of components enhanced for cloud-native fundamentals including Telemetry, Resilience, Configuration, Health Checks, and Composition.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop customer-focused content including overview/getting started content, conceptual docs, how-to- docs, articles, tutorials, and end-to-end solutions for this new .NET service.
• Collaborate with PM and engineering partners to identify and document content priorities.
• Work with engineering teams to draw out technical information and turn it into customer ready content.
• Author the documentation and test/validate the samples and configurations that will be published to customers.
• Respond to reviewer feedback and incorporate feedback as needed.
• Deliver documentation according to specifications and priorities provided by content team.
• Use content team tools, process, and publishing guidelines to deliver high quality documentation.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of technical writing creating technical, customer facing content, specifically to a developer audience
Professional development experience, working with ASP.NET and NET core.
Experience writing about Containers 
Self-starter who works well independently and with others.
Strong written and verbal English skills.
Experience or familiarity with markdown and GitHub is preferred.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Communications, or equivalent experience or equivalent work experience.
