**This is a HYBRID role that is open to US-based, authorized, W2 candidates who are able to be on-site in Seatle only**

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience outside of academic research embedded on a product team in a client setting
  • Industry experience over academic experience REQUIRED
  • Agile/Scrum experience working in 2-week sprints
  • Experience conducting research for content-heavy products
  • REQUIRED: Evaluative research (especially iterative usability testing)

Our team is looking for a mid-level UX Researcher to help our partners and push our solutions to a new level. Our researchers are embedded on scrum teams working directly with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape the direction of solutions and help measure success using an iterative, user-centered process.

Responsibilities:

  • As a researcher, you will own the development of research and insights that drive the way your product team understands and designs for our store partners. You will have expertise in qualitative research methods and some comfort with quantitative methods such as testingcard sorts, tree tests, and in-depth interviews.
  • Plan, design and lead research projects end-to-end
  • Conduct research using a wide range of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods: Qualtrics for iterative usability testing, card sorts, tree tests, in-depth interviews, content comprehension methods
  • Package insights into tools and assets for designers, product managers, and business partners to leverage (personas, frameworks, use cases, design recommendations, scenarios, etc.)

Experience:

  • Experience conducting research for content-heavy experiences (support sites, marketing sites, etc.)
  • Experience using a variety of common qualitative and some quantitative methods: iterative usability testing, in-depth interviews, cards sorts, tree tests
  • Familiarity with content comprehension methods (e.g., cloze test, highlighter method, 5 second test)
  • Experience using analytics and heat maps to identify research opportunities
  • Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers
  • Scrum team experience (familiarity conducting research within 2-week sprint cycles)

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $68.11 to $78.24 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
