Sr. Content Strategist / Copywriter

Overview

Our client in the B2B Technology space is seeking a Sr. Content Strategist to add to their Creative Services team. The purpose of the role is to ensure a solid copy/conceptual foundation on which to build on-
brand, engaging and creative B2B marketing materials, including web content, landing pages, digital marketing campaigns, social media, emails, brochures, direct mail, e-guides and more. The focus for this role is content strategy, copywriting and leading / mentoring copywriters. 

Business Knowledge/Educational Background

• 10+ years of experience with B2B content strategy and copywriting, preferably at a top agency
• Experience with challenger brand(s) highly desired
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent by experience
• Ability to think conceptually and strategically, capable of synthesizing and simplifying complex information
• Experience with long- and short-form copywriting
• Strong research skills
• Ability to solve cultural and market challenges in a matrix organization that serves different geographies
• 3+ years of experience leading a team or mentoring other copywriters
• Ability to manage, edit and critique the work of other writers
• Professional presentation, positive energy and creative thinker
• Excellent to expert written and oral communication skills
• Experience using digital asset management tools and of asset metadata preferable
• Ability to work on a portfolio of projects at any one time, responding flexibly to the changing needs of the business
• Possess excellent conceptual and brainstorming skills and be able to translate ideas into successful marketing content
• Team player who’s able to appreciate different points of view and build consensus with other creative staff as well as with stakeholders

This role can be Remote or preferably Hybrid (Stamford, CT)
