Vendor Management Analyst

Overview

This position is responsible for participating in and supporting comprehensive vendor management and related, business-critical initiatives. These initiatives may include the implementation and management of enterprise, third-party governance tools, administering a risk assessment model, contract change management processes, and tracking contract compliance according to a structured framework. 
This position is a key team member and contributes to ensuring vendor service quality and enterprise cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• Relationship management
• Alignment of business expectations with vendor deliverables
• Use of tools and templates for reporting supplier status and contract compliance
• Participation in and facilitation during supplier meetings
• Work with leadership to provide “value add” to the HCSC/vendor relationship
• Provide assistance during vendor contract drafting and negotiation phases

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with two-year’s experience in financial analysis, business, supply chain, Information Technology (IT), or related fields
• Research and analytical skills
• Function in ambiguous and/or time-sensitive situations
• PC skills and power-user with Microsoft Office
• Verbal and written communication skills to include correct grammar, clear, concise, and appropriate word choice and tone
• Listening and interpersonal skills
•  Experience working in teams

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong experience with MS Excel highly preferred
• Project management and/or negotiation experience
• Presentation skills or sales skills

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $59.59 to $66.22 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
