Overview
Part-time, 10 - 15 Hours/Weekly (potential for increase)
Our Client/University is looking for a creative Product Marketer/Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for training materials, publications, and websites. Your words will inform and engage internal employees and external target audiences. The ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, attractive copy in Client's distinct voice
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale projects (e.g., training modules and landing pages)
- Synthesize insights and research to inform copy
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Partner with SEO team to maximize copy’s reach
- As needed, source images and other content
Requirements
- Must have Portfolio/Work Samples (Positioning Decks, Strategic Alignment Decks, Messaging Maps, Brand Houses, Digital/Print Copy)
- 5 - 8+ years of Copywriting Experience (Product Marketing)
- BS/BA in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
- Knowledge of Higher Education
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with SEO
- Strong research skills / curious
- Creativity

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
