Instructional Designer

Salary: $40-42.86 / hr.

Overview

Our client in the Education Industry is seeking a creative and innovative Instructional Designer to add to their growing team. This is a full-time, contract role can be fully remote and buget has been approved through the end of June (extension possible until June 2024). They are looking for an ID Designer + Developer, who is a creative, out of the box ID who can write or push the envelope in areas such as gamification, storytelling, innovative approaches to design and ways to engage their sellers.

Ideal Candidates will possess:

• 5+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer/Developer and portfolio to highlight work
• Proven creativity / innovation regarding: gamification, storytelling and other innovative appraches to instructional design (Virtual Reality, Microlearning, Chatbots, etc)
• Experience working with enterprise learning, preferable large high-tech companies – leading online learning program at scale
• SME management/engagement (must feel comfortable on pushing back on SMEs)
• Ability to work 8 am - 5 pm PST hours
